Bookmaking Workshop – Currently Full
Bookmaking workshop that is a wonderful experience with no bounds. These classes are for any level of ability or experience. A student will choose one from a number of different books to create in the workshop. Workshops will cover basic bookmaking introduction and history, then going on to accordion books, simple stitch bookmaking, going beyond the rectangle, creating original paper sheets for books, buying already made papers, and more. A workshop can be taken by a student more than once.
Workshops are on Saturdays – (10am-5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break), for a total of 7 hours so come prepared to work!
The instructor will provide some of the needed materials and tools but workshop price does not include cost of all the materials needed to create a 5×7 book. Materials list needed for workshop will be available after registration and discussion with student.

Natacha Sochat
Natacha Sochat is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist in painting, printmaking and bookmaking. Natacha has decades of experience and a large knowledge of all the processes artists use in execution of their work. Natacha completed her MFA in studio art at Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, MA.
